3–5 years

Preschoolers

Our preschool program blends early literacy, math readiness, creativity, and social-emotional learning in a structured yet joyful environment. Children build confidence, problem-solving skills, and a love for learning through hands-on activities and purposeful play.

5–10 years

Afterschool Children

Designed to support growing learners, our after-school program offers homework support, emotional check-ins, and enriching activities. Children unwind, connect, and continue developing confidence and responsibility in a safe, nurturing space after the school day ends.

Hi, I’m Lateefah, founder and owner of Teefah’s Learning Center. With an Associate’s and Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master’s degree in Psychology specializing in childhood and adolescent development, I bring both academic knowledge and real-world experience into everyday care. As an early childhood educator, my mission is to create emotionally safe spaces where children can thrive.

Our center blends evidence-based early childhood education programs with a warm, family-centered approach, offering children the structure they need and the freedom to explore who they are becoming.

Emotional Wellness & Affirmations

Children thrive when they feel emotionally safe. Through daily affirmations, gentle guidance, and emotional literacy practices, we help children name and understand their feelings, build self-confidence, and practice positive self-talk. We use children’s affirmations, affirmation cards for children, and positive affirmations for children to reinforce kindness, resilience, and self-worth, both in the classroom and at home.

Developmentally-Rich Learning

Our curriculum follows evidence-based early childhood education practices that support language and early literacy, math readiness, problem-solving, and creative expression. Children learn best in a rich learning environment that encourages exploration, builds knowledge naturally, and supports deeper understanding. We create richer learning environments where children don’t just memorize, but truly learn and grow.

Play-Based Exploration

Play is how children make sense of the world. Through play-based learning activities for children, we support cognitive, emotional, and social development in ways that feel joyful and natural.
